Group Strength & Conditioning
The Group Strength and Conditioning class is focused on improving General Physical Preparedness (GPP), which uses exercise prescription to improve the performance of athletes at any level. This is achieved through, but not limited to Strength training and high-intensity interval workouts, that are made up of functional movement using barbells, sandbags, kettlebells, gymnastics movements, and mono-structural (cardiovascular) machines.
Group Olympic Weightlifting
The Group Olympic Weightlifting class is primarily focused on intricate movements like the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. These movements help increase strength, power, speed, and accuracy. In a Weightlifting class, you can expect to receive specific technical feedback as you work to refine and improve your capacity and the quality of your movement. Classes will also include accessory exercises to help you grow strong and powerful through repetition after repetition of the basics.
Personal Training
This is a 55 min session where you receive focused 1 on 1 attention with one of our highly knowledgeable fitness coaches. During this session, you and your coach will work through your personalized program that is designed to work with your body and your goals. You’ll also receive 1 on 1 coaching on how to continue to progress outside of the gym in your daily life.
Open Gym
USC offers open gym times to our members. During open gym, you will have access to all of our equipment, including rig, barbells, rings, bikes, rowers, and more. Members must be approved by Underground Strength and Conditioning Inc. in order to safely participate in their movements, as open gym times may sometimes be unsupervised. We reserve the right to remove open gym privileges if it is no longer safe for the member to participate.
Online Training
USC understands that not all work schedules and/or family responsibilities allow for regular gym visits. Furthermore, during times of a pandemic, we know that not everyone feels comfortable in a group environment or simply cannot. Whatever your reason for not being able to attend an in-person class, don’t fret! We can come to you – online
Nutrition Coaching
Good, sustainable nutrition is the foundation of health and wellness. We want to empower you by designing customized plans based on your needs and goals. We believe that good nutrition is not only about exercise and food, but it’s also about ensuring that you are able to develop the mental and emotional skills you need to experience the confidence and freedom a healthy lifestyle has to offer. We will assist you by using a sustainable, practice-based approach to build healthy habits into your life, one day at a time.

When you start at Underground Strength and Conditioning, your fitness level will improve quickly, usually in the first 30 days. The key to see results is consistency and commitment over time so that’s why we recommend 3 classes per week as a start!
Yes! We provide guidance on eating right or sleeping well which can help maximize energy levels – getting YOU maximum results from your efforts.
Nope! Most of our members start just like you. We assess each new members fitness level. Then our workouts are “universally scaled”, with a different version of each days workout designed for every level. As you level up you can take on more challenging variants of the workout if you desire.
